(Turnera diffusa)

Description

This herb is renowned as an aphrodisiac throughout the world. It works because it enhances the action of testosterone.

It is also an anti-depressant and mood enhancer. It has been used as a food additive in sweets, baked goods, and liqueurs, and has even been smoked.  Some contemporary herbalists think Damiana has no medicinal benefits, others believe it benefits the nervous and endocrine systems.
